Business Continuity
Business continuity is a crucial aspect of any business IT system, that can’t afford to be overlooked. Backing up your data ensures that your business can continue to operate in the event of data loss; cyber-attacks; and other disasters. A key requirement of a successful backup scheme, or disaster recovery process, is ensuring that your backups are tested regularly. At Treasure Valley Outsourcing, we include this as part of all of our backup packages.
Backup
Many people overlook backing up Office 365, assuming that they can always access deleted emails from Microsoft. In reality, Microsoft has minimal restoration options and only allow recovery of data within 30 days. Our premium cloud backup platform takes 3 backups daily (approximately 8 hours apart) of your Microsoft Office 365 platform. This is encrypted and stored in a cloud platform and facilitates either individual or full mailbox restores in the case of accidental or deliberate email deletion, including SharePoint, OneDrive and Email platforms.
If you have on-premise servers, then continuous server backups take regular backups to quick local storage. At the end of the day, the entire backup is consolidated and replicated to another site.
Disaster Recovery
If your business has suffered a catastrophic failure or disaster, the team at Treasure Valley Outsourcing can help you with disaster recovery and get you up and running again as soon as possible. Our technicians are experienced in dealing with emergency system recovery.
As always, it’s best to be prepared. Treasure Valley Outsourcing can work with you to determine your recovery needs and develop a disaster recovery plan to ensure your business is covered in the event of a catastrophic failure or data loss. This could include having separate power feeds or separate internet feeds, enabling your team to work from home via a cloud-native solution, or even if needed a Hot, Cold or Warm disaster recovery site. This is basically a full replica of your entire infrastructure at Azure, AWS or another data centre, with regular replications and the ability to “failover”. Being proactive guarantees that if and when disaster strikes, we are able to quickly implement the disaster recovery plan that is already drawn up, saving your business time and money.
